Below is a list of some of my favorite books which refer to Christianity, as well as my prefered Bible. They are in no particular order, and with a brief summary of each book. I have not read much, and need to go do so. Particularly there are several books by Sours which I am told are quite good, and several other authors. Once you click on the "Bookstore" link, please type in "Sours" or "Christ" in the search field for a list of books written by Bahá'ís about Christianity Bookstore.
- The New Jerusalem Bible - This was publised about 20 years ago by a group of Christian scholars who went back to the original texts and retranslated the entire Bible. Done very well, has informative commentary, and attemptedt to retain as much of the original charm and beauty of the King James English, while at the same time being accurate from a Linguistic point of view. In my observation, it is the best written Bible from a scholarly standpoint that also does not loose the spiritual message within this monumental work.
- Christ and Baha'u'llah - Townshend, A former minister, lays out some logical and useful observatoins in this well done book.
- The Christianity of Jesus - Blackwell, interesting observations.
- The Heart of the Gospel - Townshend, another good book.
- Thief in the Night - Sears, intruging and thought-provoking observations regarding the return of Christ.
